NV Bonnet-Ponson, 1er Cru Brut Rosé Champagne

France

The perfect champagne to celebrate what matters, and perfect for the upcoming Valentines weekend!

40% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Meunier, 25% Chardonnay, (30% of reserve wines from the preceding harvests blended in.

The nose is engaging with strawberry, bread pudding, citrus zest, orange blossom, mineral and a delicate ginger spice.

Fine and creamy mousse on the palate. Lively acidity and elegant flavors of ripe strawberry, petite raspberry, pomegranate juice, lemon zest, kumquat, rose water, mineral, brioche and hints of ginger spice. Lingering and vivid on the finish. Elegant and showing precision and intensity. Drink now thru 2025.

2018 Dupont-Fahn, Auxey-Duresses 'Derrière le Four'

France

I am so ecstatic to be able to bring this wine to you. I was able to get my hands on a small amount of this wine that accidentally made its way in to the US. This Pinot Noir was not supposed to leave France! You will not find this wine anywhere else.
Dupont-Fahn is one of my favorite Burgundian producers, who mostly focuses on white wines of exceptional pedigree. However, the producer does make an exceedingly minuscule amount of Pinot Noir that is lights out. This producer always is amongst my Top 50 Wines of the year.
Heavily scented with intoxicating notes of crushed raspberry, wild strawberry and pomegranate that are packed with aromas of rose petals, lavender, chalky earth, sea spray and mineral with whispers of white pepper and herbs. On the palate the wine shows great tension and vibrancy with crunchy acidity and refined tannins. The flavor profile of dehydrated raspberry, petite strawberry, red cherry and delicate florals are quickly overtaken by the mineral presence that recalls chalk, sea brine and oyster shell qualities that linger through the long elegant finish. A stunning and precise Pinot Noir.
Drink now (with lots of air) thru 2045.

2016 Geodesy, 'Sage Ridge Vineyard Red Wine'

Napa Valley, California

Another Club Cuvée exclusive wine from a small, boutique producer. Only 393 cases of this wine were produced. The wine is actually valued closer to $275 dollars by the Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
From a high-elevation slope in the eastern wilds of the Napa Valley near Pritchard Hill, this divine red is a blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot, 6% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot. Aged 20 months in French oak, it offers notes of lavender, crème de cassis, inky amethyst with blue undertone, cool herbal tones, liquid dark chocolate, cedar, restrained ripeness, hedonistic appeal, medium-fine tannin, with a touch of graphite at the end. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Drink 2022 thru 2036.

2013 Viña San Pedro Altaïr, 'Altair' Red Blend

Rapel Valley, Chile

Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Syrah from their vineyard in Alto Cachapoal at some 450 meters altitude. It was selected from different plots with different soils, including volcanic, alluvial gravel and decomposed volcanic with clay. It was fermented in 20 different lots in concrete, stainless steel and oak and then matured in French barriques (50% of them new) for 18 months. Only 685 Cases produced. "A suave and polished red, with explosive raspberry and cherry flavors supported by medium-grained tannins. Hints of chocolate, Asian spice and green olive show on the plush finish." Drink Now through 2030.

2016 Gordon Estate, Reserve Chardonnay

Columbia Valley, Washington

100% Chardonnay, barrel fermented in 50% new French oak, aged in 50% Neutral oak.
Great golden honey color with orange peel, ripe peach, and delicate citrus dancing with vanilla and notes of spices. It presents with full, firm structure, lush roundness, intense fruit and spicy oak. A zesty acidity drives green apple flavors mingled with candied ginger that leaves weight on the tongue. The finish is smooth and noted with fresh wood that lifts the wine to the end.
This is unique among the vast majority of Columbia Valley Chardonnay. Drink now thru 2026.
